Hey foodies it’s cold outside! But in the kitchen things are hotting up as pans bubble. air fryers hum, and microwaves ‘ping’. Whatever your particular culinary go-to, it has to be comforting, satisfying and above all … tasty. Today, we look at the top 5 predicted trends defining the food we love to eat.

1. Comfort & Nostalgia Reinvented

British comfort classics are making a big comeback, but in premium, elevated forms.

Think the humble Shepherd’s Pie with richer umami; enhanced Mac ‘n’ Cheese; and household Baked Beans lifted to restaurant standards.3 x Beans Chilli on ToastRECIPE.

2. Global Flavours & Thoughtful Fusion

Whilst ‘meat and two veg’ is a classic, UK palates are developing with travel and recreation. Broader aspects of Continental fusion are fast growing to be the norm.

Blends like Korean, Italian, Mexican, Southeast Asian influences are appearing more often in both restaurants and home cooking.Our Vegan Glazed Tofu  uses Hoisin Sauce. A rich sweet Hoisin Sauce made with Yellow bean sauce, soy sauce and a little red chilli.
