Digital Content & Social Media Manager - 20-30 hours per week - Monday - Friday - Office Based
Food is social – it gets people talking, sharing and discovering. That gives us a fantastic opportunity to create content that captures attention and connects people with Stokes.
We are looking for a creative, commercially minded Digital Content & Social Media Manager who knows how to turn great ideas into engaging digital content.
This is a hands-on role where you will have the freedom to bring ideas to the table, experiment with content and play an important part in shaping how consumers discover and experience the Stokes brand online.
THE ROLE
Social media will be at the heart of your role. You will take ownership of our day-to-day digital presence, creating engaging and distinctive content that builds awareness of Stokes, connects with food lovers and supports the wider commercial goals of the business.
Working closely with our Head of Marketing and wider team, you will help shape and deliver our social and digital activity across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Planning and managing our social content calendar around campaigns, seasonal activity, product launches and key brand moments.
- Producing Reels, short-form video and other social-first content in-house, from initial idea through to filming, editing and publishing.
- Organising and overseeing professional photography and video shoots, helping develop concepts and ensuring we capture the content we need.
- Working with our in-house chef to bring recipes and food inspiration to life through engaging content for our website, newsletter and social channels.
- Owning the Stokes Sauces newsletter, planning and creating engaging content that builds brand engagement and drives traffic to our website.
- Identifying and organising collaborations with relevant brands, creators, partners and organisations to extend our reach and introduce Stokes to new audiences.
- Amplifying PR and media coverage, turning great publicity into digital and social content that maximises its reach and impact.
- Championing the Stokes Sauces brand, ensuring our tone of voice, personality and visual identity are represented consistently across all digital activity.
- Monitoring, analysing and reporting on digital and social performance, understanding what is working and using those insights to continually improve content and results.
- Creating content that drives traffic to the Stokes Sauces e-commerce site, helping turn engagement into website visits and ultimately sales.
ABOUT YOU
First and foremost, you will genuinely love digital and social media.
You will have experience creating and managing social content for a consumer-facing business or brand, and be able to show us examples of content you have created, together with the impact it has had.
YOU WILL ALSO:
- Understand the different social platforms, their audiences and what makes people engage with content on each.
- Be confident creating short-form video, including filming and editing.
- Have a strong eye for photography, video and visual content.
- Be a strong copywriter who can adapt tone and style for different channels and audiences.
- Understand social and digital analytics and be able to turn performance data into useful actions.
- Be organised, proactive and full of ideas, with the confidence to take ownership and make things happen.
- Be commercially minded and understand that great digital content isn’t just about likes and views – it should help grow the brand and the business.
Experience within food or FMCG would be an advantage, but creativity, digital instinct and the ability to engage an audience are just as important to us.
WHAT WE OFFER: –
- Salary £35K – £40K FTE, pro rata, dependent on experience
- Working Monday to Friday
- Office based role

APPLY BELOWPicker Packer - Finished Goods Warehouse working Monday to Friday (8:30am - 4:45pm)
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Picker / Packer to join our Finished Goods Warehouse team.
This is a busy, hands-on role where accuracy really matters. You will be responsible for picking and packing a wide variety of customer orders ready for dispatch. These will range from internet orders, food service distributors, independent farm shops and delis, through to supermarket and export orders.
You will take pride in ensuring each order is picked and packed accurately and prepared to meet the individual requirements of our customers.
Working as part of a close-knit warehouse team, you will need to be organised, have excellent attention to detail and be comfortable adapting to the changing demands of a fast-paced and busy environment.
What will you be doing?
As part of our Finished Goods Warehouse team, your responsibilities will include:
- Picking a varied range of customer orders, including internet, food service, independent retail, supermarket and export orders.
- Picking customer orders accurately and ensuring the correct products and quantities are selected.
- Packing orders carefully and correctly ready for dispatch.
- Recording the appropriate product and traceability information on picking documentation.
- Checking products and orders carefully to help ensure accuracy before dispatch.
- Applying product and language labels as required.
- Preparing and affixing customer address and dispatch labels.
- Completing picking, quality and other warehouse paperwork accurately and on time.
- Identifying and reporting product shortages, delays or other issues that could affect an order being fulfilled.
- Working closely with colleagues across the Finished Goods Warehouse to ensure daily orders and deadlines are achieved.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised warehouse environment, following our “clean as you go” approach.
- Following company food safety, hygiene, Health & Safety and PPE requirements at all times.
- Looking after equipment used as part of your role and reporting any faults or concerns promptly.
- Supporting the wider warehouse team with other duties when required.
What are we looking for?
You do not necessarily need previous experience in a similar role, but you will need to be someone who:

- Is reliable, punctual and has a positive approach to work.

- Can work independently once fully trained.

Rate of pay: £12.74 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for supporting the smooth and safe running of our manufacturing processes.
Your duties will include:
- Assisting in the production of our sauces in line with recipes, specifications, and company hygiene standards.
- Following procedures relating to food safety, HACCP, and health & safety at all times.
- Handling raw materials and packaging safely and hygienically.
- Ensuring correct labelling, date coding, and tamper seals on all products.
- Stacking, shrink-wrapping, and palletising finished goods.
- Maintaining cleanliness of your workstation and conducting cleaning tasks as instructed.
- Carrying out equipment cleaning, testing (subject to training), and paperwork completion accurately.
- Reporting any deviations, risks, or concerns immediately to your supervisor.
What We’re Looking For:
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A team player who works well with others.
- Able to follow instructions and processes carefully.
- Good awareness of food hygiene and health & safety (training will be provided).

APPLY BELOWPart-Time Sales and Logistics Administrator - 20 hours per week Tuesday to Friday
We are looking for an organised and customer-focused Part-Time Sales and Logistics Administrator to join our Sales Support team. This varied role combines order processing, delivery administration and day-to-day customer service.
The role
Working Tuesday to Friday, you will help customer orders move smoothly from receipt through to despatch. You will work closely with customers, couriers, our Sales team and warehouse colleagues to ensure information and paperwork are accurate and issues are followed through promptly.
What you will be doing
- Entering customer orders and sample requests accurately onto SAP.
- Keeping customers informed about product availability, lead times and deliveries.
- Preparing picking sheets, delivery notes, pallet labels and information for couriers and customer portals.
- Booking deliveries and collections and following up any exceptions or back orders.
- Responding to sales calls and emails and dealing with customer order and delivery enquiries.
- Recording complaints and supporting replacement orders or returns where required.
- Liaising with the Sales team, warehouse and other departments to resolve customer queries.
- Providing general administrative support to the Sales Support team.
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone who:
- Is well organised and able to manage several tasks while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
- Communicates confidently, professionally and clearly by telephone and email.
- Has a practical, positive and helpful approach to customers and colleagues.
- Has good general computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- Can prioritise their workload and follow tasks through to completion.
- Has previous experience in administration, customer service, sales support or logistics.
- Experience of SAP, food manufacturing or the FMCG sector would be an advantage, although is not essential.
Working pattern
This part-time role is working 20 hours per week across Tuesday to Friday. The exact daily start and finish times will be agreed with the successful applicant.

We make all our of sauces at our ‘saucery’ on the Rendlesham Estate the heart of rural Suffolk. We now have a team of over 90, and In fact, some of us have been making sauce together for almost 20 years! There really has never been a more exciting team to join the ambitious Stokes team, with brand new factory equipment, enabling is to double our capacity, exciting new upcoming product launches and we are actively working in more sectors than ever before!
