Sales Development Associate - Flexible Part-Time & School Hours considered - OFFICE BASED

At Stokes Sauces we have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and motivated Sales Development Associate to join our Independent Sales Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inbound and outbound phone orders, email orders and queries.

This part-time role will be office based from our site in Rendlesham, near Woodbridge.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Management:

  • Handle inbound and outbound phone orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Respond to customer emails promptly and professionally.
  • Manage website sales, including order processing and customer inquiries.

Customer Relations:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and address customer needs and concerns.
  • Engage with customers in a friendly and outgoing manner.
  • Assist at consumer shows on a rota basis with tasting and selling.

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities across a range of business avenues.
  • Grow existing accounts through relationship building, range reviews and upselling.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
  • Contribute to the growth and expansion of the company’s market presence.

Administrative Tasks:

  • Maintain accurate sales records and reports using Excel and Word.
  • Prepare and send professional emails and other correspondence.
  • Multitask effectively to manage various sales-related activities.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a sales environment is essential.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong email communication skills with a professional approach.
  • Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities.

Personality:

  • Outgoing and personable, with the ability to engage customers effectively.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Genuine passion for sales and customer service.

Remuneration

  • £13 – £15 per hour, dependent on experience.

Senior Forklift Driver - working day shift - Monday to Friday

At Stokes Sauces we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Forklift Driver to join our growing warehouse team in handling materials and goods efficiently within our finished goods warehouse.

The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts and strong understanding of warehouse operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts to load and unload finished goods orders.
  • Pick and pack orders correctly, record julienne codes onto the picking sheets.
  • Pick stock on rotation.
  • Enter customers’ details onto the system, print and affix address labels as required.
  • Liaise with the sales team regarding issues which might lead to any orders not being fulfilled e.g. shortages, delays etc.
  • Assist with stock takes as required.

Required Experience & Behaviours

  • Forklift license is essential, Counterbalance or Bendi ideally.
  • Previous experience of warehouse operations.
  • Ability to load and unload goods effectively.
  • A good team player with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Excellent attention to detail, timekeeping and reliability are essential.

Hours, Pay & Benefits

  • Working hours Monday – Friday (8.30am – 5.00pm with an unpaid 30 mins and 15 mins break).
  • Pay: £12.70 per hour

Yardman - working rotating shift - Monday to Friday

We have an exciting opportunity for a Yardman to join our growing team.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Take the waste from the factory and separate it accordingly.
  • Manage the recyclable material from the factory and ensure that all material is put in the correct bins.
  • Separate the waste packaging and bale it ready for collection.
  • Pressure wash the yard ensuring that it is kept clean and tidy.

Required Experience & Behaviours

  • Able to work unsupervised.
  • Have a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Excellent attention to detail, timekeeping and reliability are essential.

Hours, Pay & Benefits

  • Working rotating shifts; Monday – Friday. Early Shift is 05:45am – 2.00pm and Late Shift is 1.45pm – 10:00pm, with a daily unpaid 30 mins and 15 mins break.
  • Pay – £12.50 per hour
  • Annual leave is 22 days plus bank holidays and an extra days’ holiday for your Birthday, contributory Company Pension, Life Insurance and Staff Discount.

Production Operative

As an ambitious team of individuals, we take pride in what we do and are firm believers in Taste, Quality and Responsibility. We have some exciting opportunities for PRODUCTION OPERATIVES to join our team, where full training will be given.

General Description of Duties and Responsibilities:-

  • Assist in the manufacture of Stokes Sauces products to the correct formulisation and specification, whilst adhering to the companies’ policies and procedures.
  • Assist to operate the production line machinery; the machinery includes, the cooking line, cold filling line, capping machine, sachet line, bucket line and/or the labelling line.
  • Assist in setting up the production line machinery for production recipes.
  • Carry out pre-checks and cleaning tasks on the production line.
  • Manual handling includes weighing and loading of raw materials into vessels and stacking finished goods onto pallets.
  • Conduct quality control checks and complete paperwork records.
  • Assist in size changeovers.
  • Operate a clean as you go approach.

Required Experience & behaviours:-

  • Excellent attention to detail, timekeeping and reliability are essential.
  • A good team player with a ‘can do attitude’ are essential.
  • Literate and numerate to a standard which allows for accurate record keeping.

Hours, Pay & Benefits:-

  • Working hours 37.5 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern of 5.45am – 2.00pm and 2.00pm – 10.000pm.
  • Starting hourly rate of pay is £11.94 per hour.
  • Annual leave is 22 days plus Bank Holidays and an extra day’s holiday for your Birthday, contributory Company Pension, Life Insurance and staff discount.

We make all our of sauces at our ‘saucery’ on the Rendlesham Estate the heart of rural Suffolk. We now have a team of over 70, and In fact, some of us have been making sauce together for almost 20 years! There really has never been a more exciting team to join the ambitious Stokes team, with brand new factory equipment, enabling is to double our capacity, exciting new upcoming product launches and we are actively working in more sectors than ever before!
