Business Support Coordinator

Based in Rendlesham, Woodbridge

Stokes Sauces manufacture a range of award-winning quality Sauces, Mayonnaises, Condiments and Preserves. We have an exciting opportunity for another Business Support Coordinator to join a growing business providing a range of support functions.

Reporting to the Sales Operations Manager you will be responsible for delivering all aspects of the Order Management and Customer Service processes, providing customers with an exceptional level of service by supporting business development, and building loyalty to the Stokes Sauces brand.

General description of duties and responsibilities:

Sales Channels

• Enter orders and sample requests onto the system.
• Provide support and manage documentation requests from the Sales team.
• Communicate with customers on stock availability and lead times.

Finished Goods

• Manage pick sheet generation.
• Check pick and pack system to ensure all orders have been processed.

Deliveries
• Book in deliveries with customers and couriers and confirm collection.
• Monitor missed and delayed deliveries and follow-up with the customers.
• Handle customer direct enquiries relating to courier deliveries.
Independent & Internet Sales
• Support cover with order entry

The ideal candidate will have the following qualities and experience

• Possess excellent administration skills.
• Is a good communicator with a professional telephone manner.
• Is well organised and responds well to working within a busy environment.
• Is a team player who is enthusiastic and has a can-do attitude.

Working Days and Hours – Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5pm

Salary and Benefits – Salary £23K along with 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension, life insurance, your Birthday off as an additional day’s holiday & staff discount.

Picker Packer

Stokes Sauces manufacture a range of premium Sauces, Mayonnaises, Condiments and Preserves. We are looking to recruit a Picker Packer to work as part of the factory team producing our products to high standards.

General Description of Duties and Responsibilities

  • Pick and pack internet orders, record Julienne codes on the picking sheets.
  • Label products as required.
  • Enter customer details onto the system, print and affix address labels.

Required Experience & Behaviours

  • Previous picking and packing experience
  • Good level of IT skills

Hours, Pay and Benefits

  • Working hours are 8.30am – 4:45pm Monday – Friday, starting rate of pay is £9.10 per hour, 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, an additional days holiday for your birthday, company pension and life insurance.

Skilled Machine Operatives

General Description of Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operating liquid filling, capping and labelling production line machinery.
  • Completing size changeovers and product cleans on the equipment.
  • Conducting Quality control checks and completing paperwork records.
  • Operating a clean as you go approach.
  • Ensuring you comply with all standards, procedures, and practices.

Required Experience & Behaviours

  • Previous experience as a machine operator or line setter or similar in an FMCG environment.
  • Team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Literate and numerate to a standard that allows accurate record keeping.
  • Excellent attention to detail.

Hours, Pay & Benefits

  • Working Hours37.5 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern of 5.45am – 2.00pm and 1.45pm – 10pm. (potential for night shift 10pm – 6am).
  • Starting rate of Pay is £9.67 rising to £10.20 per hour when trained, 22 days holiday plus Bank Holidays and a day’s holiday for your Birthday, Company Pension and Life Insurance.

Required Experience & Behaviours

  • Previous experience as a production line operator would be an advantage.
  • Team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Minimum basic level of literacy and numeracy.
  • Attention to detail.

Hours, Pay & Benefits

  • Working Hours – 37.5 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern of 5.45am – 2.00pm and 1.45pm – 10pm. (potential for night shift 10pm – 6am).
  • Starting rate of Pay is £9.10, 22 days holiday plus Bank Holidays and a day’s holiday for your Birthday, Company Pension and Life Insurance.

Warehouse Operatives

  • Check, unload, update system and put away incoming materials.
  • Manually pick materials for production and put away material returns from the factory.
  • Conduct stock counts and record results.
  • Operate a clean as you go approach.
  • Ensure you comply with all standards, procedures, and practices.

Required Experience & Behaviours

  • Counter Ballance FLT trained essential Flexi or Bendy FLT trained would be an advantage.
  • Team player with ‘can do attitude’.
  • Good levels of literacy, numeracy, and data entry IT skills.
  • Enjoy a warehouse role which involves an even mix of both inside and outside work.

We make all our of sauces at our ‘saucery’ on the Rendlesham Estate the heart of rural Suffolk. We now have a team of over 70, and In fact, some of us have been making sauce together for almost 20 years! There really has never been a more exciting team to join the ambitious Stokes team, with brand new factory equipment, enabling is to double our capacity, exciting new upcoming product launches and we are actively working in more sectors than ever before!
