With 5% Extra Virgin Olive Oil
It’s the egg that makes Real Mayonnaise real and we use more whole egg in our recipe than anyone else we know (12%). British free-range whole eggs at that too, and a healthy dash of Mediterranean extra virgin olive oil for a really luxurious finish!
The Great Taste judges commented ‘A glossy, clean and attractive mayonnaise. Olive oil offers an attractive sharp edge.’

The best tasting and creamiest mayonnaise ever and added to that its from a producer local to me
This mayonnaise won me over from Heinz and I was a dedicated Heinz buyer.
This is smoother without an acidic after taste that other brands have it is more expensive than a 775G Heinz plastic bottle at £3 and Stokes is £3 for 345g at Tesco I buy direct from stokes as it's not often available near me,however the ingredients is far superior so you need to take that into account ,I have also found this to be a wonderful taste enhancer to mash into potatoes or add to a white sauce giving that creamy lift and added indulgence.
I had never liked mayonnaise, always too greasy, salty etc. A few years ago I tried Stokes Real Mayonnaise while staying in a hotel and haven't looked back.
Lockdown gave me the excuse to buy 6 jars at once!
Love the mayo, we get use a jar of mayo a week, lovely in mash potato and perfect for homemade coldslaw , and of course with tuna,
Quick and easy order, great mayo and it's British, we must all support our own British businesses now.
No more Belgian mayo.
