Really tasty!

After trying stokes brown sauce in a cafe I was instantly hooked and had to buy some for myself. I’m a big fan of the usual big name brown sauces but this one just has such a pleasant taste.

The Best Brown Sauce in the universe

This is how I remember brown sauce when I was knee high to a grasshopper and cannot get enough. One fact is, when Stokes are doing a batch, the batch can be sold out before it's finished cooking, that alone speaks for the taste and quality.

What's happened

I loved Stokes Brown Sauce but the last 4 large squeezy bottles have been awful. There's an overpowering nasty taste there now that never was. Something has changed without doubt. I complained to Stokes (hoping it was just a production problem) and they sent two free bottles which had exactly the same awful taste. I have thrown both bottles away. It's gone from something wonderful to awful and it has to be a recipe change. I did ask this but never got an answer. I miss it so much.
