I am on a very low fat diet currently due to a temporary medical condition. Stokes have rescued me. They add flavour and substance to what is a tasteless, boring diet. This must be one of the best ways to eat beetroot and will be in my cupboard always.
I have to confess I’ve hardly used any of this as a garnish. I have instead been eating it straight from the jar. The addiction is so bad that I can’t enter my fridge, without getting the jar out and having on or two spoonfuls! This is so tasty the jar is nearly empty. Needless to say I will be buying another one or two or three…………….. I wonder if it comes in a bigger jar or even a catering size.
