I'm not sure what I was expecting but I got something I like so much more than whatever it was that was in my head before I tasted this. It really does have a taste that is both substantial and solid without losing all sense of subtlety. It has a very natural lemon taste avoiding the over-the-top artificial sense you get with many curds.
