Stokes Sauces support Breast Cancer Care with limited edition pink labels
Stokes Sauces will be launching a limited edition pink label throughout October, in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Our popular Real Mayonnaise will be rebranded in pink for the duration of October and exclusively available in Waitrose stores across the country, in support of the nationally recognised campaign. For each jar purchased, 20p will be donated to Breast Cancer Care, the only UK-wide support charity who help thousands of women and their families by providing specialist nurses, local services and emotional support networks.
Based in Rendlesham, Suffolk, Stokes Sauces this year celebrates 10 years of sauce making, using only the best quality ingredients to create unique recipes. Real Mayonnaise was Stokes very first product, making it a perfect fit for the campaign. A luxuriously creamy smooth mayonnaise made with whole egg from British free range chickens and a generous splash of extra virgin olive oil from Greece. Today the sauce is one of our bestselling products, with variations on the classic recipe including Lemon Mayonnaise, Garlic Mayonnaise and Blushed Tomato Mayonnaise.
Following on from the success of a similar campaign back in 2012, we have decided to give our famous Real Mayonnaise a makeover once again, with the special edition label. Teaming up with Waitrose, who stock Stokes Sauces nationally, we are hoping to raise both awareness of the cause and funds for the charity. ‘The cause is one that we care deeply about at Stokes as it has touched many of our lives. If our contribution can go even a small way to making a difference, then of course we wanted to do our bit’ Rick Sheepshanks, Founder. Get hold of your jar throughout October in Waitrose Stores across the country.
