Stokes Sauces awarded BRC Accreditation for Food Safety
Our hard work and quest to be the best possible sauce producer has paid off, as Stokes Sauces were awarded Grade A, BRC (that’s British Retail Consortium) Accreditation for Food Safety in December 2013.
As a global standard for Food Safety recognised around the world, the BRC Accreditation acknowledges that the awarded company operate in line with the provided framework for food manufacturers. What that means for our customers is a guarantee that we not only produce great quality sauce that is both consistent and safe to consume, but we also meet legal requirements on areas such as labelling.
In order to be awarded, the company is audited against the Standard which comprises of 7 Sections, Senior Management Commitment, the Food Safety Plan, Food Safety & Quality Management System, Site Standards, Product Control, Process Control and Personnel and of course we came out top, achieving a Grade A no less.
